PDS Bio is the new #1

NEW #1:  PDS Bio unseats Novavax at the top!

An incredible unstoppable run by PDS Bio, this week with a 320% gain in overall return, puts it in the #1 spot. Novavax, with a 29% overall gain falls to second. PDS Bio has now returned 908% since the beginning of the pandemic, while Novavax has returned 823%. 

For the week, the average overall return for all 27 COVID VACCINE STOCKS climbed up from 168% to 183%. Much of that gain coming from PDS.

 

Flat day prior to Memorial Day - PDS Bio #1 again today

A promising day turned flat with the late afternoon, pre-holiday weekend sell-off. The result was 13 gainers and 13 losers. The overall average was a gain of 0.6%.

The current champion, PDSB, was the #1 stock again, picking up just over 5.5%. Lowly Emergent Bio picked up 5% on some positive non-Covid clinical data.

The weakest stock was iBio falling just over 3%.

 

PDS Bio still on fire - gaining another 19% today on strong day

Strong up day, lead by PDS Bio again - this time it had a 19% gain. This is the hottest COVID VACCINE STOCK by far. 

The overall average was a gain of 2.5% with 22 winners and 4 losers.

Other winners include: iBio, Altimmune and VBIV with gains of 7%. Vaxart, Inovio and Immunity Bio all had gains of 5%. 

Relatively flat day - Big companies gain and smaller companies lose.

No stocks moved more than 5% for first time ever. Big companies, with Market Value of over $5B all gained, while those below with the exception of NanoViricides and GeoVax, all lost.

Seventeen stocks lost ground and 10 gained. The overall average was a lost of 0.5%.

iBio was the biggest loser, falling 4%, While Vir and Moderna gained 3%.

 

Altimmune craters 14% on relatively flat day.

Relatively calm day with 17 stocks losing ground and 10 gaining ground. Altimmune suffered an out-sized loss, falling 14%, notwithstanding that readings on the COVID vaccine and cancer vaccine is pending next month. The overall average was a loss of 1.3%.

Vaxart and GeoVax suffered 5% losses. 

On the upside, the unstoppable PDS gained 5%.

 

Tonix moves up in BOTTOM TEN

Tonix edges higher with a 9% gaining week. Emergent and Vir slip 6%.

 

PDS bio's time to shine - rockets to 2nd in positive week.

PDS Bio is the story this week. From a very strong Top 4 performer with a return of 293%, it hit the stratosphere this week with a gain of 295% total return to settle in second overall at 588%. It literally blew by Moderna and BioNTech. It is not just 206% behind the pacesetter, Novavax.

A positive week, moved these stocks from the depths of just an average overall return of 143% up to 168% for a gain of 25% return.

PDS Bio still the story - another out-sized gain of just under 15% on a flat day

Smaller Covid Vaccine Stocks do better than the bigger ones. PDS Bio is still the main story with a gain of 14.6%. Without PDS Bio, there would be a loss of 0.8% on the overall average. With PDS Bio, the loss is reduced to 0.2% on an overall average basis.

There were 15 stocks that lost ground with 9 gainers. 

Immunity Bio dropped just under 7%. No other stock gained or lost more than 5%.

 

PDS Bio explodes up 27% on strong day.

A real strong upwards day lead by an explosive day for PDS Bio with its 27% gain. The overall average was a gain of 3.7% with 24 gaining ground and three losing grounds.

Immunity Bio gained 7% and Vaxart gained 6%. Moderna, Adaptive and iBio gained 5%.

No one lost more than 2% which is rare.

 

Onco Sec gains 7% on flat day

One of the flattest days ever. Stocks ease lower by 0.1% with stocks unchanged for the first time ever. 18 drifted lower and 6 gained ground.

Onco Sec was the standout, gaining 7%. Arcturus lead the way down with a 4.5% loss. Beyond that, there was no movements near 5% up or down which is extremely rare.

 

Solid gains overall - up 2.3%. PDS Bio picks up almost 14%.

A fairly positive day with stocks climbing 2.3% on average. There were 16 gaining ground with 11 losing.

PDS Bio had a great day, gaining almost 14%. NanoViricides gained 9%. Arcturus and Gritstone gained 7%.  Vaxart gained just under 6% and Inovio and Tonix picked up around 5%. 

 

Modest gaining day - up 1.4%, Immunity Bio gained just under 10%. iBio sinks 8%.

A modest gaining day with overall average up 1.4% with 15 gainers and 11 losers.

Immunity Bio jumped ahead 9 2/3% while Novavax gained 6 1/2. Altimmune, Virology and CureVac climbed 6%.

The biggest loser was iBio after its earnings were announced, falling back a full 8%.

 

Quiet week for BOTTOM TEN in dismal week

Few changes in BOTTOM TEN in a dismal week overall. Losses were much more pronounced at the top end. IMV hit the hardest falling from an overall gain of 21% to only 6%. No one else moved by double digits.

 

Dreadful week drops total return to 143%. All gains for 2021 gone. Novavax wrecked

Painful week drops all returns from 2021 to zero. Total average return is now at 143%.

Novavax has another dreadful week. After losing 381% in overall return, it has dropped another 269% down to 731%. The gap between Novavax and the second top stock (Moderna) has not been this tight since last summer.

Geovax also dropped its return down by 38% to 250%. Immunity Bio dropped 35% down to 211.

 

Huge Rebound to wrap up tough week. Average gain - 5.3% gain!

Finally! Rebound big time. One of the best days yet as stock average a gain of 5.3%. Only two stocks failed to pick up ground.

Arcturus, which has nosedived lately, gained just under 12%. NanoViricides picked up fully 11%. Tonix and Novavax gained 9%. VBI and Moderna picked up just under 8%. CureVac gained over 7%, while Vir and BioNTech gained just under 7%. 

Dynavax, EBS, PDS and Gritstone picked up 6%. Altimmune, Translate Bio, Vaxart and Immunity Bio picked up 5%.

 

Another 2.2% lost. OncoSec fell 8% while CureVac gained 9%.

Another ugly day--this time on a big recovery day for the market at a whole.

Fully 21 stocks lost even more ground with six gaining. The overall average was another loss of 2.2%.

Leading on the downside was OncoSec, falling just under 8%. Nanoviricides and Tonix fell 7%. Generex dropped 6%.

Novavax and VBI fell 5%.

On the upside, CureVac gained 9%.

 

Another really tough day - down 3.6% on average. IMV and IBio whacked

Another punch to the gut for COVID VACCINE STOCKS. The overall average was a loss of 3.6% with 23 losers and only 3 winners.

IMV lead on the way down with a loss of 13% with iBio down 10%. 

Novavax and Immunity dropped 7.5%. Translate Bio, BioNTech, Sorrento and PDS fell 6.0%. Vaxart fell 5%.

VBI had a positive day, bucking the trend, up 4.4.%

 

Novavax continues to crumble - down another 14%.

Covid Vaccine stocks slipped another 0.7% on average. Fourteen stocks lost ground while 13 gained. 

Novavax took the biggest hit, falling 14%.  CureVac slipped 7% and Arcturus slipped another 6% after an unconvincing quarterly results conference call.

OncoSec, IMV, Dynavax and Immunity Bio all lost 5%. 

PDS Bio lead on the way up with a 7% gain, while Generex and Vaxart gained 5%.

Big Sell Off - Dynavax drops 19%

Week starts where last week ended: BIG SELL OFF. Today was worse. The overall average loss was 4.0%. Fully 21 of 27 stocks lost ground.

There were several double digit losers, lead by Dynavax which dropped 19.5%. NanoViricides, PDS Bio and Vir all dropped 10%. 

Arcturus, Novavax and Vaxart all dropped 9%. Adaptive dropped 8%. Translate Bio and GeoVax dropped 7%. 

Sorrento fell 6% and Gritstone and VBI fell 5%. 

The biggest winner was BioNTech which gained 10% while CureVac and IMV gained 5%.

 

Emergent and Adaptive sink

Emergent and Adaptive have poor week losing 29% and 25% in total return respectively. 

iBio picked up 16% to repair some of the damage from previous weeks.

 

Patent Protection uncertainty craters Vaccine Stocks - one of worst weeks ever

Terrible Blood bath week. Overall return of all 27 stocks fall from 200% even all the way down to 163%. Novavax battered -- falling from 1381% all the way down to an even 1000%. 

Only GeoVax manages to gain ground in the TOP TEN, moving from 9th to 5th. 

Vaxart is bounced from 7th to 12th and out of the TOP TEN after losing 125% in total return. It is replaced by Heat Biologics which lost a more most 21%. 

PDS, Moderna, OncoSec and Sorrento had notable losses - over 50% in total return.

 

iBio climbs 17%, Gritstone up 15% and Dynavax up 10% on bounce back day

Big bounce up to end a tough week for COVID VACCINE STOCKS. iBio lead the way with a gain of almost 17%. Gritstone turned things around with a 15% gain with Dynavax the other double digit gainer - up over 10%. 

BioNTech climbed over 9% with CureVac is up 7%. Arcturus, Inovio and Immunity had a gain of 5%.

On the downside, GeoVax slipped 5 1/2% to lead downwards. 

In total, 18 stocks advanced with 8 losing ground. 

The overall average was a gain of 2.8%. 

 

Big sell-off again. Translate Bio drops 14%

Another day, another sell-off. More painful losses. The overall average loss was 2.9% with 22 stocks losing grounds and five gaining ground.

The biggest loser on the day was Translate Bio with a loss of 14%. CureVac and iBio each fell 7%. Arcturus, Vaxart and OncoSec dropped 6%. VBI and Nanoviricides fell 5%.

 

Potential Loss of Patent Protection crushes a positive day. PDS wrecked by almost 18%

Biden's lack of support for covid vaccine patents turned a very strong green day into another harsh red sell-off.

Fully 21 stocks fell and five gained ground. The average was a 2.8% loss.

IBio was as high as a 28% gain, but it was halved by the end of the session, up just under 15%.

The biggest loser was PSD Bio, falling just under 18%. Vaxart's yo-yo continued, this time falling just under 16%. Onco Sec was next biggest loser, falling over 8%.  CureVac continues to buckle, falling another 7%. Moderna fell 6% and Novavax fell 5%.

 

Horrific Sell-Off - Stocks down over 7% - Generex up 10%

Horrific Armageddon type day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS. The overall average drop was one of the worst ever:  Overall fall of 7.2%. That's punishing.

What makes it worse is that the four winners had very strong days mitigating the overall downdraft. Generex had a great day - up 10.4%. Vaxart continued its yo-yo, up 9%. GeoVax was also strong: up just under 7%. Only Tonix had a flat day to the upside: just under 1%.

Red Hot BioNTech plummeted 15%. CureVac and VBI dropped 9%. 

Immunity Bio and Sorrento fell 8%. Novavax, Moderna, Arcturus and OncoSec down 7% and Heat Biologics down 6%.

Even the top stocks were not spared.

 

Vaxart and Novavax take big hits. BioNTech stays very strong

Vaxart gets pummeled, losing a quarter of its value after earnings reporting and an update on the Covid vaccine processes. Novavax also whacked, falling just under 18%. Alnylam had a rough day, falling just under 9%.  

BioNTech continues to rocket forward, gaining another 11% as its amazing run continues to gain momentum. GeoVax also had a strong day gaining over 6%. 

Overall, there was a loss of 1.5% with 16 stocks losing ground while only ten gained ground.

 

Tonix moves up. Otherwise flat for BOTTOM TEN

Not much happening in the BOTTOM TEN. Tonix added 10% to its overall return and moved up from 4th worst to 6th worst. Otherwise, a very flat week for the bottom-dwellers.

 

Overall return up to 200%. Vaxart and Novavax have explosive weeks.

Strong week for COVID  VACCINE STOCKS - particularly the TOP TEN. The overall return jumped back up to 200% from 178%.

Vaxart broke out, jumping its return by 184% up to 276%. The stock exploded into the TOP TEN up to 7th place overall, causing Heat Biologics to slide out.

As great as Vaxart's week was, Novavax had another amazing bounce back week, lifting it up 183% - up to 1381%. 

BioNTech continued its strong performance with a 43% increase, securing its third place position. Altimmune is returning to former glory, gaining 55% in overall return this week. GeoVax also strong - gaining 34%.

Immunity Bio was the only TOP TEN stock to lose ground - down 11% in total return.
