For the second straight day 20 of the 28 COVID VACCINE STOCKS fell. On average these stocks lost 2.5%. CureVac suffered its second straight double digit fall after going straight up with its launch last Friday. Sorrento tumbled 10% after the dismissal of the CFO yesterday. VBI, IBIO and Generex all witnessed high single digit losses. The most consistent losses were in the small market value stocks. All eight winners today were in the top half of the 28 in terms of market value.
The winning COVID VACCINE STOCK today was Atara Biotherapeutics, up 7 1/2%.
There are only three stocks that managed to post gains in both of the last two days: Emergenty BioSolutions, Adaptive Biotechnologies and Arcturus Therapeutics.
