BioNTech rockets to third overall with a gargantuan return. Overall return falls from 210% to 208%

BioNTech makings its move. Now in third place with a gain of 132% in overall return. Novavax is going the other way with a loss of 149% in total return. Moderna remains in top spot with a pick up of 19%. 

The overall average return of all stocks slipped 2%, from 210 to 208%.

 

Translate Bio knocked down 22% as stocks slide 1.9% overall

Week ends with a 1.9% drop in the overall average, lead by Translate Bio got crushed in a 22% drop.  Vaxart dropped just under 8%, while Gritstone and GeoVax fell 6%.

BioNTech was the top gainer, picking up 5%.

Seventeen stocks fell with 10 gaining ground.

Reversal day - Fall by 2.7%

Total reversal from yesterday. Fully 23 stocks lose ground. OncoSec, GeoVax and NanoViricides, the biggest losers with just under 9% losses. 

Arcturus hit by 6%, while Heat Biologics, Vaxart and Gritstone all fall about 5%.

Overall, stocks fell 2.7% on average.

 

Huge Advance! GeoVax up 17%

Huge up day! Average was a gain of 4.6% with all but two stocks gaining ground.

GeoVax screamed ahead with a gain of almost 17%! Both BioNTech and OncoSec picked up 10%. 

PDS Bio was the next up with a strong gain of over 8% and Translate Bio picked up 7%. Half a dozen stocks picked up 6%. 

To the downside, NanoViricides gave back some recent gains, falling 7%. 

 

Broad-based sell-off with 21 stocks losing ground. NanoViricides picks up 17%

Fully 21 stocks lost ground with only six gaining. 

The overall average was a loss of 0.8%. 

The very good gain of NanoViricides sheltered the group from a larger loss with a gain of 17%.

Moderna takes over #1 - total return at 210%

Moderna unseats Novavax at the top. The relentless climb of Moderna has put it at the very top. This weeks out-sized gain on its return -- gaining 240% -- in total return, while Novavax stayed flat with a gain of just 3%, was enough to propel the biggest company in the list to the #1 spot. 

BioNTech also had an enormous week, gaining a full 134%.

All others in the top ten gained as well. 

The total return of all COVID VACCINE STOCKS is back over the 200% marker: it now sits at 210%. Without Moderna, it would be at 170%.
