Moderately strong bounce back Monday with BioNTEch leading the way

Sixteen stocks gained ground after the big fall last Friday, with eight losing ground. The overall average was a gain of 1.6%.

BioNTech roared back with a 12% gain and Novavax had a 9% gain. Gritstone picked up over 5%. 

Ocugen fell another 6.3%. 

 

BLACK FRIDAY for Moderna and most COVID VACCINE STOCKS sees a 29% drop in overall return

Train crash of a week - total returns falling from 200% down to 171%. 

Moderna had the biggest loss of total returns ever with a 471 per centage drop in its total return. There are no longer any 10 bangers (1000% or more returners).

Novavax, which bucked the cratering, climbed back to its previously seemingly unassailable top spot. It had a gain of 65% in total return.

BioNTech's losses were not on the scale of Moderna, but still came in at a high 177%. 

Dynavax also gave back some its enormous gains, losing 97%.

BLACK COVID VACCINE FRIDAY!!!

Worst day to ever hit these stocks - a fall of 8% overall.

Emergent admitted it lost federal funding for vaccine production. It got crushed by 37%. 

Dynavax crumbled 22%. 

BioNTech crumbled 21%.

Moderna and Arcturus 16%.

Vir fell 15%.

Generex and NanoViricides fell 12%.

Novavax tumbled 11%.

Note the three stocks that bucked the trend:  Ocugen, IMV and Alnylam.

 

Merck's pill makes Big Boy sick

Merck's new pill makes COVID VACCINE STOCKS sick, with a few exceptions. The positive streak came to end today with a loss of 2.7% overall.

There were 21 that lost ground and six gained.

The biggest loser was Ocugen which fell 21% for the second straight terrible day after some amazing days earlier. Moderna buckled, falling 18% ($62).

Both BioNTech and Novavax also had bad days, falling 7% and 8% respectively. GeoVax fell just over 6%. 

On the flipside, iBio picked up 9% after it announced it has acquired title to the facility it operates out of in Texas.

 

Modest move up - Ocugen drops 19%

Another positive day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS, this time less pronounced as they picked up 0.7% on average. 

Ocugen which had two great days already this week, gave back almost 19%. 

VBI and iBio had rare good days moving up 5% each.

 

Ocugen and Novavax have second double digit day in a row.

Another strong up day, with gains of 2.1% on average. There were 16 stocks up and ten down with one flat. 

Like yesterday, Novavax (up 13%) and Ocugen (up 12%) let the way with double digit gains.

Generex reversed some big losses with a seven point gain. OncoSec also gained 7% to partially reverse recent losses.

 

Huge Up day with Ocugen and Novavax with double digit gains

Huge up day to start November with a 3.8% average gain with two big double digit gains.

Ocugen lead the way with an enormous 18% gain following by Novavax which exploded up by 16%.

Nanoviricides picked up 7%, while OncoSec, Gritstone and Immunity picked up 6%.

 Twenty-one stocks gained and six lost.
