Big move up - Four stocks pick up double digits.

Very strong move up with the overall average climbing 3.4% with 17 stocks moving up and 10 losing ground.

There were fully four stocks with large double digit gains. Gritstone gained just under 26% for its biggest move in months. Immunity Bio exploded up 22%. Vir gained 17% and Generex continued its move back to respectability with a gain of just under 16%. 

Novavax and VBI picked up over 7%. Both Arcturus and Vaxart gained over 5%. 

On the downside, iBio gave back almost 13% on recent gains.

 

iBio leaps 29% while Moderna, Vir and Generex very strong. Still, a flat day with 18 losers.

Fully 18 companies lost money in this turbulent time with only 11 gaining ground. Still, the overall average was flat. There were four very strong performers today with double digit gains:  iBio, up 29%, Vir, Moderna and Generex, up 12%.

Novavax slipped 11%, GeoVax was down 9%, PDS Bio down 8%, OncoSec, Gritstone, Tonix down 6%. Arcturus and Emergent were down 5%.  

 

Climactic Day! Moderna explodes up 21% along with GeoVax

Some months, nothing happens; some days, months happen. Today's half day of trading was one of those days.

The big three blew up with the new of the "Nu" strain out of Botswana. 

The total return was 3.5% with 17 gainers and 10 losers.  The biggest gainer was GeoVax and Moderna which advanced a full 21%! 

BioNTech and CureVac roared ahead 14%, Vir and Generex gained 12%. Arcturus picked up 11%.  Five double digit gainers marks a really strong day -- one not seen in many months. 

Novavax continued to shine, gaining 9%, while NanoViricides picked up 8%. PDSB picked up 7% and Tonix pickd up 6%. 

Of the 10 that lost ground today, Ocugen suffered the biggest loss, falling 9%. 

 

Covid Stocks ease down 1.1%

Covid stocks tend to slip with a fall of 1.1% overall. Seventeen stocks fell and ten gained. 

OncoSec continued its downward trend with a fall of over 8%. CureVac fell by more than 5%. 

On the upside, Emergent Bio picked up just under 7% and Tonix gained 5%.

 

Big 3 only serious gainers again

BioNTech gets over $300 with double digit gains. Novavax and Moderna also very strong with gains of 8% and 7%.

IMV and OncoSec fell 8% to lead on the downside. PDSB fell 7%, Gritstone and VBIV fell 6%, Immunity Bio and iBio fell 5%. 

There were 20 stocks that lost ground with seven gaining.

 

Strong week for the Big Three (Novavax, BioNTech and Moderna)

Novavax solidifies back on top with a strong 140 point pick up. Moderan also was strong, gaining 70. But it was BioNTech which had the best week, gaining 147 per cent in total return, nudging closer to PDSB which fell a whopping 107 points. 

The big three were the only game in town this week, moving the overall average return for all covid stocks up to 183% from 175. 

 

Stocks end the week flat - OncoSec falls 11%

Stocks end the week flat with an overall loss of 0.1% with 14 stocks losing ground and 12 gaining. 

The biggest loser was OncoSec which fell 11%. 

Ocugen and BioNTech gained 6% while Moderna picked up 5%.

Stocks edge lower...Ocugen hit and Generex nearing zero value.

Stocks sag on Thursday. Sixteen stocks fell and 11 gained ground. The overall average was a drop of 1.2%.

OncoSec bucked the trend with a strong double digit gain of 11%. CureVac picked up just 6% and Vaxart gained just under 5%.

On the other side, Adaptive dropped 11%, while little Generex continued its plunging trend, falling just under 8%. Geovax, Vir and IBio fell 6%.

Heat Biologics and Ocugen fell 5%. 

 

GeoVax explodes up 24%

A move up by 0.6% with 14 gainers and 13 losers.

GeoVax exploded up by just under 24%.

Emergent had the best day its had in months with a pick up of just under 8%. 

Arcturus was also strong, picking up just over 5%. 

iBio tumbled 8% and Tonix lost just under 6% and Generex slipped again, fall 5%.

 

Relatively flat week - total returns edges up from 171% to 175%

Flat to moderately positive week - with a gain of 4% overall. The total return edged up from 171% to 175%.

Novavax remains on top for second week after cratering for several weeks. The erstwhile leader, Moderna has slipped--the only stock to lose ground in the top ten.

VBIV has managed to return to the top ten, replacing Heat Biologics.

The biggest loser today was Tonix was 7%. Geovax slipped 6% while OncoSec and Generex fell 5%. 

 

Stocks fall 1.6% overall - Ocugen, PDS and BioNTech slip 7%

Covid stocks sag on Tuesday by 1.4% overall. Nineteen stocks fell, with seven gaining ground. 

The top performer today was Generex gaining 9%, while Tonix gained almost 6% and GeoVax gained 5%. 

The biggest loser today was Ocugen which fell just over 7%.  PDS Bio and BioNTech lost 7%. Arcturus tumbled 6% while CureVac, Adaptive and Immunity Bio all fell 5%.  

 

Moderately strong bounce back Monday with BioNTEch leading the way

Sixteen stocks gained ground after the big fall last Friday, with eight losing ground. The overall average was a gain of 1.6%.

BioNTech roared back with a 12% gain and Novavax had a 9% gain. Gritstone picked up over 5%. 

Ocugen fell another 6.3%. 

 

BLACK FRIDAY for Moderna and most COVID VACCINE STOCKS sees a 29% drop in overall return

Train crash of a week - total returns falling from 200% down to 171%. 

Moderna had the biggest loss of total returns ever with a 471 per centage drop in its total return. There are no longer any 10 bangers (1000% or more returners).

Novavax, which bucked the cratering, climbed back to its previously seemingly unassailable top spot. It had a gain of 65% in total return.

BioNTech's losses were not on the scale of Moderna, but still came in at a high 177%. 

Dynavax also gave back some its enormous gains, losing 97%.

 

BLACK COVID VACCINE FRIDAY - 8% LOSS ON AVERAGE

Worst day to ever hit these stocks - a fall of 8% overall.

Emergent admitted it lost federal funding for vaccine production. It got crushed by 37%. 

Dynavax crumbled 22%. 

BioNTech crumbled 21%.

Moderna and Arcturus 16%.

Vir fell 15%.

Generex and NanoViricides fell 12%.

Novavax tumbled 11%.

Note the three stocks that bucked the trend:  Ocugen, IMV and Alnylam.

 

Merck's pill makes Big Boy sick

Merck's new pill makes COVID VACCINE STOCKS sick, with a few exceptions. The positive streak came to end today with a loss of 2.7% overall.

There were 21 that lost ground and six gained.

The biggest loser was Ocugen which fell 21% for the second straight terrible day after some amazing days earlier. Moderna buckled, falling 18% ($62).

Both BioNTech and Novavax also had bad days, falling 7% and 8% respectively. GeoVax fell just over 6%. 

On the flipside, iBio picked up 9% after it announced it has acquired title to the facility it operates out of in Texas.

 

Modest move up - Ocugen drops 19%

Another positive day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS, this time less pronounced as they picked up 0.7% on average. 

Ocugen which had two great days already this week, gave back almost 19%. 

VBI and iBio had rare good days moving up 5% each.

 

Ocugen and Novavax have second double digit day in a row.

Another strong up day, with gains of 2.1% on average. There were 16 stocks up and ten down with one flat. 

Like yesterday, Novavax (up 13%) and Ocugen (up 12%) let the way with double digit gains.

Generex reversed some big losses with a seven point gain. OncoSec also gained 7% to partially reverse recent losses.

 

Huge Up day with Ocugen and Novavax with double digit gains

Huge up day to start November with a 3.8% average gain with two big double digit gains.

Ocugen lead the way with an enormous 18% gain following by Novavax which exploded up by 16%.

Nanoviricides picked up 7%, while OncoSec, Gritstone and Immunity picked up 6%.

 Twenty-one stocks gained and six lost.
