Big Boys the only game in town - Novavax picks up 89% on its total return to the end of October 2021

Big Boys are still the only game in town in Covid Vaccine Stocks. Top Performer this week was Novavax with an 89% jump in returns after a few terrible weeks.

Stocks ease off by 1.1% - Ocugen strong.

Down day to end the week with overall average is a loss of 1.1%. 21 Stocks fell with six gaining ground. 

Ocugen was the standout again with a gain of 13%. GeoVax was also strong with a pick up of 6%. 

Generex continued recent troubles with a loss of over 6% while Arcturus slipped another 5%. 

 

Orderly, broad-based sell-off. Stocks lose 1% on average. Gritstone moves ahead 11%

Broad-based but orderly sell-off. Fully 23 stocks lost ground with only four gaining. 

The overall average was a loss of 1.0%. 

No stocks lost over 5%. 

The one major winner was Gritstone which picked up just under 11%.

 

Strong move up of 2.7% on average

A strong move up to start the week. The overall average was a gain of 2.7% with 24 stocks gaining and only three losing.

Ocugen was the top gainer, picking up 12%. Moderna and Dynavax gained 7% while BioNTech and Sorrento picked up 6%.

 

Week ends with almost unanimous sell-off iBio and Tonix hit

A sell-off day with only 2 stocks barely managing to eke out a small gain. Fully 25 stocks lost ground.

The biggest loser was iBio which has continued recent weakness by dropping over 6%. Tonix fell just over 5%. 

 

Flat Day - BioNTech strong. OncoSec weak.

Flat Thursday. Stocks ease down 0.1% on average. OncoSec got hit with a 5% loss to fall down to $1.8.  BioNTech had a strong day, climbing over 6%. 

There were 12 stocks losing ground with 14 gaining.

 

Novavax wrecked - down 16%

Sad day of reckoning for our erstwhile #1, Novavax. It was pummeled today on production concerns, falling a full 16%. Immunity Bio also tumbled just under 6% and Gritstone was down 5%. 

The newcomer to the index, Ocugen, gained 5%. 

Overall the stocks lost 1.2% with 19 losing ground and eight gaining.

 

Stocks make a moderate move up with VBI leading the way.

Moderately strong day as 17 stocks  gain ground with nine losing. The overall average was a gain of 1.3%. 

VBI Vaccines picked up 7% to lead the way while Adaptive slipped 6%. 

 

Flat day to start the week. OncoSec falls over 7%

An overall flat day with stocks easing down by 0.1% with 15 losing ground and nine gaining.

OncoSec fell over 7% to lead on the downside, now trading below $2 again. Adaptive fell around 4.5%. 

Tonix picked up 6% while BioNTech gained 5%.

 

Down to just one 10 bagger, as Big Boys continue to slip

Covid Vaccine Stocks slip to a total return of 200% - sliding all the way down from 285% a month ago. 

Moderna is still on top, while PDS Bio has tumbled again, now just a few points ahead of Novavax which is also seriously slipping of late.

 

Tonix moves up 7% - on a mildly positive day for Covid Vaccine stocks.

Covid Vaccine Stocks picked 0.8% on average lead by Tonix which picked up 7%.

On the downside, Immunity Bio and CureVac fell 5%. 

There were 16 gainers and nine losers on the day.

 

Devastating week for Big Boys. Novavax falls to third overall

Really devastating week for COVID VACCINE STOCKS - particularly the biggest stocks. Total return falls from 282% down to 217%.

There were five stocks whose return tumbled more than 20% over the week, lead by Novavax which dipped to third place for the first time and gave up 27% of total return. 

BioNTech, Virology, Moderna and Curevac also gave up more than 20%.

Heat Biologics has replaced Translate Bio (bought out by Sanofli) in the top ten. Heat was the top performer -- only giving up 3% for the week.
