Vir moves to positive territory on a strong week for BOTOM TEN

Vir's amazing week bounces it out of negative territory with a gain of 52% on its overall return.  Dynavax also moves up 28% so from 6th from the bottom to tied at 9th from the bottom.

 

NOVAVAX blows up TOP TEN

Novavax a no doubt winner now. Catapults up to a 1281% return. Leaves everyone in the dust.

Vaxart also jumps way up into Top Ten for first time in a long time. Moderna and Sorrento on fire as well.

 

NOVAVAX's DAY!!!!

This is the day. This the day we have been waiting for since March 1. The number one stock in the COVID VACCINE INDEX finally released key results that were very good. Novavax moved up almost 2/3's. 

On a real down day with the focus on the GAMESTOP/ROBIN HOOD issue, these stocks delivered amazing results - one of the best days all time - a gain overall of 7.6% for second best day all time.

Vaxart was on fire with a gain of 34%. PDS had a great day, up just under 19%. Inovio was also strong with a gain of over 16%. Onco Sec had another great day as well with a gain of almost 13%. Arcturus fills out the roster of double digit gainers with a gain of just under 11%. 

Vir had another great day - there is some talk that it may get to join the Game Stop AMC club. Today it was up almost 10%.

Moderna has reached its highest level ever today after another strong performance: up 8.5%. 

Translate Bio, Dynavax, Altimmune, BioNTech, Nano Viricides and CureVac also had noteworthy performances today.

 

COVID VACCINE WINNERS GIVING BACK GAINS - VIR AND SORRENTO HIT

On the day Novavax announces its great results after market, the rest of the COVID VACCINES STOCKS got rocked down 3.3%. Nine managed a gain and 18 fell. Not many stocks are near flat. Everything is moving strongly one way or the other.

For example, VIR gave back fully 29% after crazy great week. Sorrento also gave back a big chunk of its earlier gains this week, falling almost 20%. Nano Viricides fell over 13%. Inovio also gave back over 12% and CureVac fell 10.5%. 

GeoVax and PDS also had high single digit losses. 

Generex lead the way up with a gain of just under 6%.

 

Sorrento roars up 46% - Inovio best day in months - up18% - but others hit hard

Except for a couple blowout winners, the COVID VACCINE STOCK picture is turning sour. It's like the funds are flowing from everyone to a couple winners.

Those winners today were Sorrento and Inovio that moved up 46% and 16% respectively. Without these winners, it would have been a really tough day - as it is, the average loss was 1.2%. Seventeen stocks dropped with nine climbing. 

Vir has been on an intense great run - it touched $100 today before falling back to $83. This is a stock that started the week at $40.

Among the many stocks that had rough days were: Heat Biologics, Gritstone and Altimmune which all fell just under 16%. Adaptive, GeoVax and Generex also had double digit losses.

 

VIR EXPLODES - up by 3/4's.

Things are starting to get interesting. 

Fully 16 stocks lost ground today with only 11 up. 

However, the complete rock star performance of Vir distorted everything. It had perhaps the best day of any COVID VACCINE stock ever -- sky-rocketing up 74%. And yes, I closed out my position two days ago. 

Thanks to the distortion caused by Vir, the overall average gain was 2% instead of a 1% loss.

GeoVax continued its recent rampage, climbing another 16%. Sorrento also had a great day again - climbing up over 12%. 

Heat Biologics had another amazing day, up 9% and Inovio climbed just under 9%. 

On the other hand, the new issue, Gritstone continued to float down after the initial euphoria, falling another 14%. Six stocks fell around 6%: Vaxart, Translate Bio, Arcturus, Dynavax, Curevac and Nano Viricides.

 

 

One of best days ever Vaxart explodes up 41% - Dynavax, Altimmune and Moderna on fire

One of the best days all time. 

COVID VACCINE STOCKS rocketed up on average just under 7%. Those are total blow out numbers.

Vaxart lead the group with an amazing 41% explosion.  

Dynavax broke out with a larger than one quarter gain. 

Next up on the honor roll today was Altimmune with a strong 18% gain, followed by Heat Biologics which climbed over 16%. There were an amazing three others with double digit gains:  NanTKwest, Moderna and GeoVax.

Vir just missed the 10% marker today while Inovio, Generex and Translate Bio also had notably strong days.

Gritstone gave back some of its amazing gains from last week, falling 12% to lead on the downside. Nineteen stocks managed gains with eight falling and one flat.

 

Positive moves in the BOTTOM TEN

Positive week for the all COVID VACCINE STOCKS with the BOTTOM TEN no exception. Only Atara and Tonix failed to register gains and their losses were trivial.

IMV and iBio each jumped up a spot.

Gritstone explodes onto scene - total return of COVID VACCINE STOCKS at 169%

Another powerful week for COVID VACCINE STOCKS as 2021 is looking very good for these stocks so far. The addition of Gritstone Oncology makes the group 28. It exploded up 212% in one week for the best one week performance of any these stocks.

The overall average is now a gain of 169%, up from 158% last week.

Other than Gritstone, the biggest mover in the group was OncoSec, with its return climbing 69% with Arcturus up 68%. Altimmune was also strong - up 39%. 

Translate Bio was bumped from the top ten with entry of Gritstone. OncoSec bumped Moderna out of second spot. Both Altimmune and Arcturus moved up one. Novavax is still number 1 by far, though with a flat week this week.

 

COVID VACCINE STOCKS up 2.8% - iBio up over 20%.

A very strong COVID VACCINE performance to close out the week with fully 20 stocks registering a gain with seven down. The overall average gain was 2.8%. 

iBio lead the group with a gain of over 20% with Nano Viricides continuing its strong performance of late with a gain of just under 16%. Altimmune was the third stock with a greater than double digit gain - climbing over 11% to close at $14.35.

Generex had a strong day, up close to 8% while Arcturus and Gridstone each gained over 6%. 

GeoVax fell over 8% to lead the way on the downside.

 

OncoSec has best day of 2021 - up 23%.

Gritstone (GRTS) has been added to the COVID VACCINE STOCKS for a total of 28, of which, half were up and half down today.  Ov

Onco Sec did not last long under $6 and rocketed up 23% to over $7 per share to lead the way.  GeoVax was up 12% and Nano Viricides had a great day, up 10%. Tonix was up 5.5%.

VBI and Inovio suffered losses of over 6% and the now volatile, Generex, fell over 5%.

 

Vir up 11%

 

The day turned out almost exactly flat. Fourteen were up and 13 down.

The winner today was Vir, up a strong 11%. Sorrento continued its recent strength, up over 6%. On the downside, NanTKwest and OncoSec fell 5%.

 

Generex advances 40% to $40. Arcturus Strong again

 

A very strong COVID VACCINES STOCK on the last day of Trump's presidency.

There appears to be strong momentum in these stocks as the focus on vaccines and their rollout grows.

Nineteen stocks were up today with 8 down. The overall average gain was an impressive 3.4%. 

Little Generex had its second amazing bump in two weeks, climbing just under 40% at an even $0.40. Arcturus rocked up just under 15% as it continues its recent volatility.  Heat Biologics, Nanoviricides, NanTKwest and Altimmune stood out with strong high single digit gains today.

GeoVax lead the way down, falling just over 6%.

 

Vir has strong week, Emergent climbs out of BOTTOM TEN

Emergent Bio climbs out of BOTTOM TEN with CureVac sliding in. Strongest performer for the week was Vir, increasing its overall gain by 25%, now down just 15% from March 1 up from a loss of 40% last week.

Atara and CureVac were the only two to lose ground.

 

Sorrento strongest in TOP TEN on huge week

 A very strong week for the TOP TEN. Sorrento rocks forward the most, moving its overall return up 95% to 338%. GeoVax closed on an amazing week, climbing 88% and moving back into the TOP TEN. Moderna also continued its strength, gaining 65% in its overall return and returning to the second place overall -- now returning 400% since March 1.

The top stock remains Novavax with a strong gain of 34% for a total return of 696%. NanTKwest continues its very strong run, return up to 256% with a gain of 61% this week.

 

Sorrento rocks forward - up 19%. Vir up 8%

Two of three COVID VACCINE STOCKS fell today, but there were a couple very strong performers to the upside which kept the overall average decline to just 0.5%.

Sorrento exploded up just under 19% and Vir climbed just under 8%.  Generex continued to give back significant parts of its enormous 60% gain earlier this week falling 6.5%.

 

 

NanTKwest up 20% on strong COVID VACCINE STOCKS day

NanTKwest leads the group up on Pancreatic Cancer news, with a gain of 20%. Sorrento jumped up just under 10%, while Vaxart, iBio and PDS had strong high single digit gains.

Two of three COVID VACCINE STOCKS posted gains today with an overall average gain today of 2.2%. 

Generex continued to give back from its outsized gains earlier in the week, falling 11% today to lead on the downside.

Relatively flat day - average is down 0.6% Vir Bio and Tonix strong

COVID VACCINE STOCKS fall moderately - down 0.6% on average. Eleven stocks gained ground while 16 fell.

Vir Bio lead the way up with a gain of just under 11%. Tonix had another good day, up 8%. 

To the down side Generex and GeoVax gave back 12% of the big gain from earlier in the week. iBio and NanTKwest fell 9% and 8% respectively.

 

iBio on fire - up 25%. Virology, Tonix and NanTKwest strong.

A very strong day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS with an overall average gain of 3.3% for the day. Two of three stocks were up. 

The top performer today was iBio moving up one quarter.  Virology and Tonix were up 13% while NanTKwest was up 11.5%.  Novavax and Moderna also had strong single digit gains along with Alnylam and Vaxart.

The most volatile stock of the group remains Arcturus, dropping almost 10% today while OncoSec had a rare down day, losing just under 5%.

 

GeoVax and Generex Break out - plus 60% each!

Unbelievable breakout day for the two little G companies: Generex and GeoVax. Both skyrocketed today. Geovax managed a gain of over 62%, thus becoming a $20M company (was $5M when the pandemic began). Generex was up an amazing 60%, thus virtually eliminating all losses since its spike in March. It has languished around $20 ever since -- until today. Now it's at $40. Huge day for these companies.

BioNTech lead the rest up with a solid 8% gain, while Alnyam gained just under 7%. OncoSec continued its very strong run, gaining another 6% on the day while iBio managed a gain of 5%.

The majority of stocks lost ground today in spite of these stellar performances with Altimmune giving up some recent gains, and leading the group down with a loss of more than 5%.

 

Major Bounce Back week pulls up BOTTOM TEN - CureVac leaps out

CureVac recovers and bounces out of the BOTTOM TEN with a strong 48% gain in return from last week. Atara falls in as a result, with its return falling 6% when all others in the group managed a gain. Strongest performer: IMV with an 18% upswing for the week.

Overall, a bounce back week from the relative collapse during the last week of 2020, but without any spectacular moves.

 

Extremely strong week to start 2021. Arcturus bounces back - Novavax still number 1.

A very powerful upsurge in COVID VACCINE STOCKS to start 2021. Novavax remains the number one performer since March 1 by a considerable distance after an astounding bounce back week - its return climbing by 65% to 662%. The top performer this week was Arcturus - which has been very volatile of late. It regained a full 190% up to 403% return after putting the worst performance ever last week, falling 396% in terms of overall return since March 1. It has now returned 403% and has regained its position as second best. 

Altimmune was also extremely strong with a gain of 72% up to 282% total return while BioNTech returned to the top ten with a nice 54% jump. Geovax lost its spot in the top ten as its total return fell 4% this week. 

Overall these stocks have now returned 144% up from 116% last week.

 

Generex leads the way up with a 7.6% gain on relatively calm day

Modest move to the upside with an overall gain of 0.6% to close out the first week of January.

Generex had its best up day in many weeks to lead with way with a 7.6% gain. 

BioNTech was back as a top performer with a gain of 7.2%, followed by CureVac and Tonix with 6.4% gains. Alnylam closed out the top performer group with a 5.2% gain.

Vir lead the way down after a strong day yesterday, giving back most of its gains, losing 5.8% on the day. PDS lost 5.5% and Novavax lost just under 5%. 

Sixteen stocks were up and 11 down.

 

Absolute Blowout UP DAY! Arcturus gains more than a third.

Complete blow out amazing up day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS. This thing is far from over. Only the great Moderna lost ground.

The overall average gain was an amazing 6.8% for one of the best days ever for these stocks.

The top stock was Arcturus with a huge rebound of just under 37%. It has been the most volatile stock by far. 

Many other stocks had great days including CureVac, Virology and NanTKwest which all had double digit gains. Alnylam and Altimmune were just under the 10% threshold today. 

 

Big COVID VACCINE STOCKS lead the way - Moderna, Novavax and BioNTech.

The biggest COVID VACCINE STOCKS did the best today as Moderna, Novavax had over 6% gains and BioNTech had a gain of 5%. Translate Bio also had a gain of 6%. 

Tonix lead the way down with a loss of 7% and Generex fell just under 6%. 

While there was volatility, the overall average was flat with a small gain of 0.17%. There were 12 stocks up and 13 down with two flat.

 

 

Tonix Pharma leaps forward 15% on relatively flat day

A modestly positive day for COVID VACCINE STOCKS with an overall average gain of 0.6%. 

Fourteen stocks went up and twelve down with one flat.

Tonix had by the far best day gaining 15%. PDS Bio had a gain of more than 5%.

NanTKwest had the worst day, falling 6%. 

 

Major bounce back day to start 2021. iBio up 16%

Amazing bounce back day to start 2021 for COVID VACCINE STOCKS. The overall average return was an extremely strong gain of 4.8%. 

iBio rocketed forward with its best day yet - gaining 16%. Four other stocks managed double-digit gains:  Altimmune (+12.7%), Arcturus (12.7%), Vaxart (12.7%) NanoViricides (10.8%). 

Inovio, Moderna, PDS Bio and VBI also had strong single digit gains.  There were 22 gainers with five losers.

 

CureVac falls into bottom ten.

Curevac drops into BOTTOM TEN after terrible week - its return falling 37%. 

 

BLOOD RED WEEK to end 2020

Brutal blood red week for COVID VACCINE STOCKS to end 2020.

BioNTech was knocked out of the TOP TEN. Arcturus' return literally dropped from around 600% to around 200% for the worst week ever of any COVID VACCINE STOCK.

Novavax was not spared, dropping its return a full 111%. Moderna's return came down an enormous 73%. 

OncoSec and GeoVax managed gains and to move up the charts.
